Meet Dr. El-Zaru

Dr. Mohamad El-Zaru received his medical degree from the University of Jordan, School of Medicine in Amman, Jordan. Dr. El- Zaru completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
He then went on to complete a fellowship in Cardiology, Heart Failure and Transplant at Tufts Medical Center and completed another fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Lahey Clinic. Dr. El-Zaru continues to have a significant research career by participating in clinical studies as well as being on different adjudication committees for different clinical studies.
He is board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Heart Failure and Heart Transplant, Vascular Medicine, and Endovascular Interventions. Dr. El-Zaru is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Vascular Medicine. In addition to working with Pondville Medical Associates, Dr. El-Zaru is an Interventional and Heart Failure Cardiologist at Tufts Medical Center.
